Tipping in Prague

• Tips are graciously received rather than expected.
• The general rule is to round up to between 5 – 10%
• You can pay the bill and then leave a tip on the table when you leave.
• In high-end restaurants the service charge may already be included.
• If paying by credit card, it is sometimes possible to add the tip to the total before paying.
• Most Czech restaurants are happy to provide individual bills rather than a group total if that is preferred.
